This will be a really important appointment for the Council, and I look forward to working closely with the successful candidate to promote and celebrate the fantastic work that the Council and its partners are undertaking.

It’s an exciting time to be part of the Council. Major initiatives such as our Hemel Place Strategy and the Hemel Garden Communities programme are shaping the future in response to expected population and employment growth. Community and partner engagement are vital strands of this work, so we want to ensure that these and other initiatives are supported by a proactive communication strategy, enabling us to promote and celebrate success and ensure that stakeholders have a clear sense of progress.

Dacorum has much to offer with exciting regeneration plans and amazing greenspaces. With easy access to and from central London and easy access to the M5, M1 and M4, we are well connected and a great destination for visitors and businesses.

It’s a fantastic time to join the team at Dacorum Borough Council and shape a great place for our residents and stakeholders. We’re looking for candidates who will bring proven professional expertise across digital, media, and events; who can build excellent relationships within and outside the Council; and who can help us to innovate and improve how we connect to our community.
